Apprenticeships - technical, business, craft and supply chain
Our Peterborough and Stafford facilities in the UK offers two apprenticeship schemes; technical and business. A craft apprenticeship is also available in Stafford.
Technical
For budding engineers our Advanced Apprenticeship combines 'hands-on' work experience with technical training. The Technical Apprenticeship will lead to technician qualifications in maintenance, quality, tool room machining, fabricator welder or research and development.
Business
Our Business Apprenticeship provides experience in a range of office based departments including purchasing, supply chain, human resources, finance, manufacturing operations and engineering.
Craft
Our Craft Apprenticeship provides factory floor experience within the machining shop, assembly, test and finish. When it’s appropriate, you’ll also get hands-on engineering experience, under skilled supervision.
Supply chain
The functional areas you can expect to work in include: Customer Account Management, Production Planning, Logistics Engineering, Supplier Management, Freight Management and Export Documentation, giving you the potential to gain understanding and experience of the end-to-end supply chain at one of the world’s leading manufacturers of commercial diesel engines.
