Perkins strong presence at Bauma China 2018
Perkins will be at Bauma China 2018 to underline the importance of the China market to the company. Perkins experts will be at the show to answer the questions of Chinese original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and other customers, to help them determine the best way forward to adapt their machines to meet the emission requirements of the local and export markets. A strong aftermarket presence ensures the full Perkins offer will receive a boost.
Perkins returns to Bauma China in November 2018 with a full line-up of industrial engines and world-class aftermarket services that reinforce the importance of the China market to the company.
At Bauma China 2018, which runs from November 27-30 in Shanghai, Perkins engine experts will be on hand to discuss Perkins solutions to the upcoming China Nonroad Stage IV (China NR IV) emission standards.
Joining them on the stand will be representatives from our regional distributors, Lei Shing Hong Machinery and Foshan Sime Darby Elco Power Equipment Ltd.
As always, the show gives Perkins the opportunity to demonstrate its continued commitment to the China market and its customers there and to highlight the company’s outstanding technological innovation and customer-centric approach.

A powerful line-up
"Perkins engines offer a proven solution to OEMs who are looking to make sure their machines meet not just China NR IV standards but also the highest emission standards in their export markets in Europe and North America," said Tommy Quan, Perkins director of sales and distribution for Asia.
In particular the Perkins® 1204EA-E44TA and 1206EA-E70TA engine models, specially developed for the Chinese market, are an evolution of the Perkins highly successful U.S. EPA Tier 4 Final/EU Stage V engines. With responsive performance and exceptional power density, the engines support the needs of manufacturers looking to upgrade existing machines with smaller, more efficient engines to meet China NR IV standards.
On display at Bauma China will be the new Perkins® 403EA-17, alongside the Perkins Syncro® 3.6 litre, the 4.4 litre 1204EA-E44TTA, the 6 cylinder 2406EA-E13TA and the 6 cylinder 2806J.
Alongside new parts, Perkins customers can take advantage of a new-for-old service plus factory-remanufactured parts carrying a 12-month warranty. Among the options are remanufactured turbochargers, long and short blocks, and now fuel pumps and injectors.

Bauma visitors will also be able to see demonstrations of the ground-breaking Perkins® My Engine App in its new updated version. The app, which is free and available in seven languages, acts as an electronic service book for owners and operators of Perkins-powered machines with service prompts and quick reference information. Siobhan said the app has a new user interface with a clean, modern look and feel and many new features designed to make engine management simple.
